Mobile Crusher Plant
A mobile crusher plant is a self-contained crushing unit mounted on a wheeled or tracked chassis. It integrates various crushing equipment, feeding systems, conveying systems, and screening units into a single movable platform. This allows for on-site crushing of materials, reducing transportation costs and increasing operational flexibility.
Working Principle
The material to be crushed is fed into the mobile crusher plant, typically using a vibrating feeder Depending on the specific plant configuration, it may first pass through a primary crusher(e.g.jaw crusher, impact crusher) for initial size reduction. The crushed material is then conveyed to a screening unit, where it is separated into different size fractions. Oversized material is returned to a secondary or tertiary crusher(e.g.,cone crusher, VSI crusher) for further processing, while the desired product sizes are discharged via conveyors. The entire process is powered by an onboard engine or an external power source.
Applications
Mining
Crushing raw ore at the mine site, reducing the need to transport large volumes of unprocessed material. This is particularly useful in remote locations or for temporary mining operations.
Quarrying
Crushing stone, gravel, and other aggregates for construction purposes. Their mobility allows them to move between different sections of a quarry as needed.
Construction and Demolition Waste
Crushing concrete, asphalt, and other construction and demolition debris for reuse as aggregate.
Road Construction
Producing aggregates for road base and asphalt production directly at or near the construction site.
Gold Mining
Crushing ore at smaller gold mining sites or for pilot projects.
Metallurgy
Pre-crushing certain ores before further processing.
